Workforce Ethics
One of the definitions of ethics in the workforce is a code of conduct to: "Do the right thing at the right time and do it right." This can be a challenge for some. But as Christ representatives on this earth, we must maintain our code of conduct, which is righteousness and that takes practice. A friend once told me that before he speaks, think or act; he stops and considers is this appropriate, is it Christ-like? He said he had to train himself not to be spontaneous and react.
Did you know ethics is not a new philosophy? Ethical conduct is found in the Bible. For example, Daniel was described as one that had an excellent spirit. He was a man of wisdom, prestige, and godly conduct. Daniel believed in doing the right thing for God and the people of Israel, even to his hurt. In Christ, we too have an excellent spirit more excellent than Daniel. However, we have a choice to do the right thing. Listen to the Holy Spirit within you. He will guide you with wisdom and knowledge to do the right thing at the right time and to do it right! Read
